Although seldom shown in 'realistic' settings, Vallejo is, after all, a fantasy artist, the realism of his subjects is amazing. It almost seems like the subjects could jump off the canvas and into the real world. Not only is his work featured in his calendar, but as illustrations for posters, books and magazines.
A number of sites feature the work of Boris Vallejo including this one. I have included centaur images here that are duplicated in several places on line. Other sites have gathered a wide variety of his work, but I have here only his images of centaurs.
