Imagine that the fall of civilization predicted in the year 2000, actually happened. Also imagine that the hoped for technical, and medical achievments that we hope to have in the next 300 years, had happened by 1950. Then you might be now living in a world like that occupied by Tiger Woman.
it is the future. Great theme parks have been built where you can not only experience new things, but be new things. Things like winged humans, or mermaids or...
Centaurs. Now imagine civilization has fallen. For years and years, the technology and history of the past has been left behind. Those who had taken on these forms were left transformed as the world collapsed. Enough survived to raise families, and muddle on to survive. Their history as 'changelings' forgotten. This is what life is like. The giant parks are populated by what to many people of today would think of as mythological 'beasts', running wild and surviving in some cases better than those who remained human.
This is that story. Not a bad concept, and the art is ok. Although the centaur's problem with his tail made me cringe!
