Centaursite.com - Lois Lane as a Centaur

Lois as she transforms into a centaur. DC comics has a few male centaur characters, most notably the origional Biron / Comet / Superhorse and his later incarnation as seen in the new Supergirl series of comics. A few others have shown up as guest stars or featured characters in other comics.

These characters are usually male, and more often than not 'bad guys'. One, Biron was changed from centaur to horse, and Comet, the new version, was changed from human male to centaur, and human female. The new Comet has some issues. But with all the male centaurs in comics, you have to wonder, aren't there any female centaurs?

Oh sure, we saw the one featured in the Claw comic, but she... well, you'll have to read it to find out why we can't count her. And of course, there's Lana Lang taking centaur form in For Whom the Gods Destroy, but she didn't retain the form.

And, in fact, Lois doesn't retain her centaur form either. Just like Biron / Comet / Superhorse, Lois is only a centaur for a short time as she shifts from human to horse form.

I only have these scans, but from them it seems that Maldor, who caused Biron to lose his centaur form, has somehow come to the 'present day' to woo Lois Lane. Lois resists his advances and Maldor punishes her by making her a 'Superhorse' like Biron.

Just an observation, but if Maldor 'wanted' Lois, seems he'd use some mind control or love potion to make her 'want' him, not turn her into a horse, with superpowers! And finally, since he was all upset with Biron and caused him to change into a horse, why would he give him a mate? Seems if I had become a horse, I'd want a mate who had had the same experience. I don't find at all attractive the idea of 'being with' a horse who had the mind of a horse...

Ahem.. Anyway, here are the three or four pages and images that illustrate Lois Lane's short time as a centaur
