Well, here is a comic that shows centaurs, Mermaids,satyrs and other 'mythologicals' in a good light. None of the stereotypical 'animalistic savage beast' sort of thing, but as what most of them are, reasonable people who are just trying to get along in the world.
Not sure what the story is on Captian Marvel. According to the cover, he was somehow given the powers of a number of ancient gods and 'great men. In his spare time, when he isn't saving the world, he's a news reporter for some TV station. A bit of an update on the tried and true superhero working in his secret identity at some place that gathers news so when he is needed he will know it, say... like a newspaper.
Captian Marvel seems to be pretty young in his secret identity, and older and more mature in his Captian Mavrvel suit. As usual in superhero transformations, he's better looking too.
As for the centaurs in this story, the art isn't bad, and they seem like regular folks, just a lot larger and stronger and just plain bigger. Anyway, I've included the whole comic here, just because I could.
